tilapia fillet with escabeche sauce

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 kg tilapia fillet
1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
1 pack pineapple chunks
5 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp red red and green bell pepper (strips)
flour
1 cup grated papaya
1 tbsp garlic
3 tbsp onion
2 tbsp ginger
salt and pepper to taste


PROCEDURE:
1. Season tilapia fillet with salt and pepper.
2. Dip it in a flour. Then deep fry the fillet.
3. For the sauce, Saute onion, garlic and ginger and pepper.
4. Pour the pineapple juice over the pan. Add sugar, soy sauce and grated papaya. Simmer until cooked.

5. Put the tilapia fillet and chunks.




----WHAT THE? ayoko sa lahat ee sa isda.. lalo na kung ako yung maglilinis!! i hate this! pero.. wala ako magagawa.. kailangan para sa grades ee.. hai.. pipilitin..
alam mo yung lansang lansa ka na sa sarili mo? pero hindi mo un iniisip.. para sa grades mo.. AKO YUN! hai.. worse lab for me.. (sa ngayon)

napansin ko sa sarili ko pagkatapos ng ab na to.. puro kaliskis na ng isda yung buhok ko. ump! 

pero okay nman.. masarap!!

2 in 1 ang luto namin.. ULAM NA.. ATSARA PA!


ORANGE CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cups water
1 1/2 tbsp orange juice concentrated
2 tbsp UFC banana catsup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cornstarch diluted in 1 tbsp water

250g. chicken breast fillet
1 tbsp datu puti fish sauce
1 cup cold water with 4 pieces ice cube
1 cup flour
3 cups Golden Fiesta palm oil


PROCEDURE:
1. Prepare orange chicken sauce by combining water, orange juice concentrate, JUFRAN sweet chili sauce, UFC Banana Catsup and brown sugar in a saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil, then thicken with the cornstarch mixture, set aside.
3. Cut chicken into 1" strips and roughly score each piece. Season the chicken with Datu Puti Fish Sauce.
4. Dip chicken in ice water and flour. Repeat twice.
5. Heat GOlden Fiesta Palm Oil in a deep frying pan, then deeo fry chicken. Set aside.
6. Toss fried chicken into the orange chicken sauce, until evenly coated.






--wow!! para lang kaming kumain sa CHOWKING!!  hihi. FYI!! kami po nagluto nyan.. hindi namin inorder sa chowking yan.. try mo tikman.. ang sarap! :) hahaha. ganda pa ng kulay.. :)

pork hamonado

INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs. pork butt or loin (1 kl)
2 cups pineapple juice
2 cups pineapple chunks
3 tbsp soy sauce
5 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp cooking oil
salt & pepper to taste


PROCEDURE:
1. Mix the pineapple juice, soy sauce, sugar in a large bowl.
2. Marinate pork with ingredients 1-3 hours.
3. Remove pork from the marinade.
4. Heat oil and fry marinated pork.
5. Pour in the marinated pork until brown, together with the pineapple juice. Simmer, 10-19 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
6. Serve.



--saya namin ginagawa at niluluto yan.. kulang sa oras dahil sa pag marinade. 1 hour lang namin binabad yan.. dapt 3 hours. kaya hindi masyadong lumasa.


nang tinikman namin.. waaaahhhhh.. matigas!! kulang pa sa luto.. wala na kami magagawa. ubos na yung oras ee.. kapos ba.. uwian na.. kaya sabi namin, "bahala na si batman".


pero ayon.. 98 naman nakuha nming grade diyan.. :)

oy oy oy.. OKOY!

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 kilo suahe (small black shrimps)
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 egg, well beaten
1/2 cup water
salt; pepper and patis, to taste
1 cup togue (beans sprouts)
cooking oil


PROCEDURE:
1. wash shrimps.
2. meanwhile, make the BATTER by mixing the flour, cornstarch and baking powder with the egg. Add the water. Season with salt, pepper, and patis. Add more water if necessary to make a thick and smooth but not lumpy batter.
3. arrange togue and shrimps on a saucer. Add enough batter to fill the saucer.






4. in a pan, heat the oil. Empty the saucer into tha pan, by pushing the batter with a wooden spoon carefully to retain round shape of the resulting okoy. Deep-fry then drain on paper napkin. Serve hot and crisp with a vinegar-garlic-salt-pepper dip.




--nang pinatikim ko yan sa teacher ko nung highschool at sa friend kong HRM student din, nagulat ako kasi bigla silang namangha sakin.. hindi nila inaakalang makakapagluto ako nang ganyang kasarap.. hihhihi. kahit ako. hindi ako makapaniwala.. masarap pala.. THE BEST OKOY! :)

FRUIT carving and plating









hai.. anu ba yan? fruit carving? d ako marunong niyan!! my goodness!! pero.. infairness.. ngawa namin ng maayos.. the ANGRY BIRD!! wahaha. yan yung pinangalan namin sa prutas na yan.. muka bang angry bird? prang hindi naman ee, hahaha. chos!!
mahirap pala magfruit carving.. akala ko madali.. kapag kasi napapanuod ko sa tv mukang madali lang.. hindi pala!! lalo na ung pakwan!! sa sobrang laki at tigas ng balat nito.. napakahirap!!


buti pa yung plating.. madali daling gawin..
kahit na mahirap pa yan.. ineenjoy na lang namin.. :)
